Pastor Richard Helsel’s Maundy Thursday Sermon.
Maundy Thursday, also referred to as Holy Thursday is observed during Holy Week on the Thursday before Easter. Maundy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper when Jesus shared the Passover meal with His disciples on the night before He was crucified. The word “Maundy” is derived from the Latin word mandatum, or “mandate.”
The Coronavirus Pandemic has forced “Our Church” to make some rapid adjustments. The new paradigm in which we find ourselves has drastically changed the way we communicate with each other. The traditional sermon must now be delivered using the Internet!
